By undertaking driving lessons with a Passmaster Team instructor you agree to these terms and conditions.
All our instructors are fully qualified and display an official badge at all times to prove they are on the register of approved driving instructors which is renewed every four years and with a CRB check.
Your instructor will expect you to undertake their instructions at all times.
When turning up for driving lessons you will be required to be in possession of a valid driving licence which the instructor will be required to see. You also agree to a licence check to be carried out on the DVLA website to check for entitlements and endorsements.
On driving lessons you are required to wear sensible clothing and footwear for driving. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of a lesson and the lesson payment will be charged.
It is against the law to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs when driving or any medication which may also affect driving. If the instructor believes you are not fit to drive under these circumstances during a lesson, the instructor will terminate the lesson and charge the full lesson price.
Driving Tests may only be arranged with the prior agreement of both the instructor and the Pupil.
The instructor reserves the right to withhold the use of his/her vehicle for a driving test.
Payment
Our instructors are self-employed and deal with all monies personally. You will pay the instructor at the commencement of a lesson or unless other arrangements have been made prior to the commencement of the lesson. Prepayment monies for lessons in blocks or intensive courses are valid for three months from the start of the first lesson, after which the monies can not be refunded unless other mutual arrangements have been made. Any refunds for remaining prepaid hours will be charged FULL rate for the hours you have previously had meaning you will lose the bulk booking discount.
Payments deadlines for normal driving lessons (i.e. hourly or bulk) are required a minimum of 48 hours before commencement of the lesson. Intensive course payments are required a minimum of seven working days before commencement of the course.
Cancellations
By booking a driving lesson with an instructor, you are required to pay for any lesson.
ANY cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice before the commencement of planned lesson will be charged for, and by agreeing to these terms and conditions you agree to pay if that situation arises.
